09 Mar Timisoara 21K will take place on October 4th 2020
Dear runners,
We come back to you regarding the decision of the authorities to postpone all events having 1000+ participants until March 31 to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic.
We have prepared for a spring edition for 2020 SportGuru Timisoara 21k, as you have probably seen on the streets of Timisoara or heard from the radio. We were looking forward to offering you the finishers’ medals and to see you wearing this year’s custom t-shirts.
However, according to the decision taken at national level and for the safety of everyone (runners, organizing team, volunteers, and all those involved in this event), together with the local authorities we decided to postpone the event.
This year, SportGuru Timișoara 21k will take place on October 4th, 2020.
We understand that this change may not fit everyone’s plans. In this regard, all runners who have been already registered and confirmed until March 8th have the following options:
1. Keeping the registration for the current race (for October), having the following ADVANTAGES (both offered after participating at the race in October): • 25% discount at the 2021 SportGuru Timisoara 21k registration • 15% discount offered by @ SportGuru.ro for Mizuno and Compressport products (available for 15 days: October 5th – October 19th) 2. Free transfer of the registration to another person 3. Transfer of the registration for the 2021 SportGuru Timisoara 21k edition 4. Restitution of the registration fee for all those who did not pick up their race kit at the October 4th edition. The refund will be made based on a request sent after October 5th, 2020, by email at [email protected]. The deadline for sending refund applications is October 19th, 2020.
Registrations for the October 4th race remain open until the new edition. Registrations made from March 9th are not subject to the above conditions, respecting the general rules of the event.
We thank you all for your understanding of this difficult decision and we are sure we will have a great race together in fall!
